Water Babies

Our communtity pool finally opened yesterday. It was a count down experience for us since the pool closed the weekend we moved in, much to my children's dismay. We don't understand why it can't be open all year and why the locals think it is too cold in December. Unless we are scraping ice off the windshield it is still swimming weather as far as my children are concerned.

So with much excitement we loaded up the wagon and headed out.

Lil Bird absolutely loved the water! This was his first time in a pool so we weren't sure what to expect, but he was nothing but grins and giggles.

He would have dove right in if we'd let him. Butter also thought the water was a little bit of heaven. She was not scared one bit and floated around like a lily pad for quite a long time.

She wasn't too happy when it was time to leave, but she couldn't really argue through the chattering lips...




and you could tell Lil Bird had fun, he was wore out!

We hope to hit the beach in the next couple weeks, I'll be sure to post pictures of that too.
